I recently finished business cards that I designed for Hero’s Last Rite.
Printed through VistaPrint from Toronto. I was skeptical about the quality and working through a business that was out of province (no chance to fix any mistakes), but I’m happy how they turned out.
About The Design
If there’s one thing that I love, it’s clean design that isn’t cluttered or filled with excessive, trivial elements and flourishes that serve nothing. Since it was a business card for a heavy metal band, black is essentially the go-to colour. Since I don’t get the opportunity to work with foil or metallic inks very often, I wanted to take the opportunity to explore a design that, when finished, looks slick but not pretentious.
The band is very happy with it and the results look great.
